On Saturday, February 12 (date may change), club members are invited to come on a one-day trip to Sandstone, MN.  We’ll shred the gnar on ice!

Gear: all you need is warm clothes, food and water.  You’ll need to rent boots, crampons, and ice tools.  We will pick them up on the morning of the trip, in Sandstone.

Safety: This may look scary, but it’s essentially the same setup as our indoor climbs.  There is an anchor at the top.  The rope goes from the climber, up to that anchor, and back down to the belayer.  You can see the green rope in this photo if you look closely.
